Please enjoy these pictures of Union Station.  This beautiful station in the Beaux Arts style was completed in 1911 by the Boston and Albany Railroad.  The station closed 1972 and was unused for many years.  It reopened in 2000 after several years of restoration.  The station is a commuter rail hub by day and an arena for private events at night.  Its features include 175-ft high twin white towers,  a 212-ft high clock tower and an elliptical stained glass skylight in the main hall.
